Ossaco City
Ossaco City is a small sector of the Ossaco District, on Razhea Capita. Social influencers, media experts, and superfans flood the streets, flocking towards vibrant bars and clubs that run from sunset to sunrise. The city is known for its vibrant culture and striking inhabitants with unique fashion senses.
The city has a population of 4.65 million, one of the smallest city sectors on the planet. Instead of apartment complexes, multi-story cafés, casinos, brothels, and other buildings perch along bustling main roads and down quiet alleyways.
Main Street
Ossaco City's main feature is its Main Street. 90% of the sector's infrastructure funding is poured into this street alone, reinforcing it with three-metre thick solid metal beams to keep the ground from crumbling into the Underworld below. The Main Street sits atop three collapsed Cloudcutters, one partially emerging through the street seen as a monument.
The Main Street is lined with themed cafés, including the Gassé, where customers can inhale various gases, the Apothecary, serving magical foods and drinks, and the Bapycara Café, with twenty bapycaras roaming around waiting to be cuddled.
Navigate through winding alleyways to find more discrete locations. Anklebiter is one of the most popular gay bars in Ossaco City; to get in, one must retrieve a secret code from another location on Main Street. The entertainment industry thrives in Ossaco City, many amateur entertainers aiming for their big break in this energetic sector. Trends die as quick as they are born in Ossaco City. A new and unique establishment may be the talk of the town one day and abandoned the next.
History
Ossaco City declared itself an independent city almost seven hundred years ago, in 1560. Its government works separately from its district, the Ossaco District. It once had a self-sustaining economy and had very little contact with the outer world, but after the collapse of Main Street in 2183, it sought help from neighbouring sectors.
Ossaco City's government begged its neighbours for financial aid, receiving the bare minimum from Orazi, a wealthy industrial city to the west. Orazi receives ten million charms in funding each year, which the city's government mostly dedicates to maintaining the Main Street. Anything else must be funded by independent investors.
The city saw a boom in popularity after several videos went viral on Spacestar, a social media platform on Utopia. Ossaco City transformed from a withering mess to a vibrant oasis of culture and diversity. It is one of the most diverse cities on Razhea Capita, with over three thousand sophontic species calling it home, and even more as tourists.
