Wystras are elegant birds inhabiting the Night Islands. These birds form long lines along the canopies of the algal forests, raising their feather trains in unison, facing the moon for hours on end.

The eye-like patterns on these birds glow in the dark of the night, following anyone or anything that gets too close. While these birds are harmless, they evoke an unforgettable sense of anxiety and paranoia.

These animals are creatures of idolism on Hothiri. The workers of Kannvas Oil in particular admire these animals, and envy their ability to roam free.

Their tail feathers mimic ghost wisteria, etheral flowering vines that grow in abundance on almost ever Night Island.

It is believed these birds can cast spells using the glowing eyes on their tail. An angry peacock makes his eyes glow a deep purple, and a happy one a soft pink.
