Unuth Glitter Forest

The Unuth Glitter Forest is the only teal biome to be found in Unuth, on Osao. The forest is inhabited by very few slimes that have adapted to the tropical conditions.

Geography & Climate

The Unuth Glitter Forest, or the UGF, is a teal tropical rainforest. The rainforest reaches average temperatures of 40℃, and with humid climates, makes for an uncomfortable place to visit if you're not prepared.

The majority of the forest is blanketed with mist, which clears around lakes and rivers. The forest is mostly flat, with few hilly areas to the north and south, especially along the northern coast. The forest expands on to a large beach area where the ocean merges with the Unuth Sea.

The forest gets its name from the millions of tiny lakes scattered throughout the forest. These lakes contain a bioluminescent bacteria that causes a shimmering effect. These bacteria are completely safe to consume, and actually benefit the health of those who who drink the water.

Osao is a rocky planet in the Kurhira System, one of eleven. It is characterised by an entirely tropical climate, with average temperatures (Celsius) in the forties, year round.
Five continents make up the majority of dry land on Osao. These five continents are home to perplexing lifeforms, intriguing peoples, and gorgeous sceneries.

Fauna & Flora

The Unuth Glitter Forest is packed with thousands of unique fauna and flora, most endemic to this forest due to them adapting to the climate and would die outside of it. Many animals have pores on their bodies, especially their backs, that take in water vapour from the environment, and negates any need to drink water.

The most well known animal from the Unuth Glitter Forest, kept in captivity worldwide, are the bapycaras. Bapycaras are cute little animals that love a good cuddle, however once they've been cuddled for the first time they begin demanding for it from anybody who gets close.

Slime Settlements

There are very few settlements of slime in the Unuth Glitter Forest. The most populated settlement is Glitterville, a town of 593 slimes that can be found on the west coast of the UGF. Glitterville is known for its port, which brings tourists and distributes valuable natural resources worldwide. Glitterville attempts to preserve the native wildlife, as any invasive species could bring havoc to the entire forest.
