Time

Not many people in the Yonderverse quite realise what time is. Time is actually a fluid, to most people's surprise. Time can be found flowing through the aptly named Time Dimension, where it pushes along almost every single other dimension as its forces impact the entire Yonderverse; past, present, and future.

Physical Properties & Characteristics

Time itself is a liquid in its natural state. Time is a light turquoise colour, and appears very silky, shimmering as it flows. As time flows through its home dimension, it flows very irregularly, sometimes speeding up or slowing down. That is an unfortunate side-effect of the dimension, where time is uncontrolled.

Effects On Other Dimensions

Due to time continuously flowing, it drags along almost every single other dimension along with it. The Time Dimension is integrated within every single other dimension in the Yonderverse, acting as a ghost of sorts. It interacts with other dimensions through metaphysical means, but cannot be seen nor physically interacted with. Time pulling along other dimensions creates the feeling of the passing of time, which is measured differently in various civilisations throughout the Yonderverse.

Time Travel

Something most can only dream of, time travel is not only possible, but reliable. However, time travel require great strength, mentally and physically, and great magical abilities.

Time Travel is only possible through the use of Time Magic, which relies on the Time Dimension. Due to the complexity, only the strongest of mages are able to harness the Time Dimension's powers. After conducting a barrage of powerful spells, one's vision will start to blur and the Time Dimension will become partially visible. The user will be able to force the flow of a small portion of time backwards, which will cause the user to be sent back in time, at a constant speed, until time stabilises and begins flowing normally.

Time will flow normally while the user exists in the past. In order to get back to the user's present, they must push time to flow faster than it normally does, which will send them through time straight to their present, but no further. The user will not age during the time where they do not exist in their present.
