Scwabble

Scwabbles are small birds endemic to the Whispering Woods on Cilvarth. Their thick, fluffy blue feathers keep them warm along the coastlines of the forest, where sub-zero winds rush down from the northern seas.

These birds are gregarious, living in large colonies. They share one large nest, where hatchlings squabble over food and space. They have been observed only a handful of times by cilvarthians, only able to study the birds from afar, as the forest proves too dangerous to enter.

Scwabbles were first discovered around three hundred years ago by a sailing ship that noticed the small blue birds fluttering around the coastline. They have only been documented five other times, once when the birds flew all the way over to a passing boat.
