Titan's Corner

A shimmering lake sits in the desertified Siltlands. The atmosphere remains clear, while sandstorms rage on beyond the confines of the titan trunks. The silvery, effervescent water ripples as a small breeze cuts through the atmosphere, light bouncing off the waves.

Titan's Corner is one of the most luxurious landmarks within the Siltlands. The crescent shaped lake guarded by monolithic titan trunks, serving as a watering hole for thousands of animals, seeking refuge from the harsh weather conditions.

Geography, Location & Climate

The lake in the centre of Titan's Corner has an area of just a square kilometre. It is by no means a large lake, but by existing year-round, it sets itself apart from the thousands of ephemeral lakes and ponds within the Siltlands.

While the atmosphere throughout the Siltlands is dry and will cause an itch in your throat, the air within the confines of Titan's Corner is soft, almost delicious. The air is cool, humid, with a lovely cold breeze that pairs wonderfully with the blazing heat of the day. During night times the region heats up as the lake glows a light silver and blue.

Titan's Corner is deep within the Siltlands, many miles south of the Phalan Forest. It can go unnoticed if you are not careful, as titan trunks are plentiful within the Siltlands.

Norrab is best known for its swirling sandy seas, treacherous mountain ranges, trenches that cut all through the oceans, and an assortment of other dramatic, dangerous landscapes. Despite this, people have learned to thrive here and find beauty in what life manages to win the fight against the unforgiving environment.

While both norrabians and adamnans might rarely come across Titan's Corner, it is infamous within the wild animal world. Millions of animals gather around this lake yearly, to drink from its cool water, and enjoy the humid air on their dry skin.

Sian soarers flock in their hundreds to this lake, landing in gigantic formations, storming through the Siltlands, resembling a gigantic pterosaur. These birds are some of the largest on the planet, standing three metres tall.

Gigantic tortonids will wander hundreds of miles to this lake, even if it takes them their entire lives. Theorists suspect some magical influence over this lake, that entices creatures. While water is vital to an organism's survival, it does not justify an entire life spent in search of this one lake, when thousands of others exist.
