Bufonis

Bufonis sits in the middle of Bufonia, a large island that makes up most of Aromobos and Hylosora. Sat on the border between these two countries, Bufonis has been fought over for hundreds of years.

The city was built within the ruins of an asteroid crater, estimated to have impacted the planet between six and ten million years ago. Bufonis's population is predominantly adamnan, making up around 80% of six million inhabitants. Another 18% are norrabian, and the rest are a mixture of other species.

Did you know Bufonis is the only place on Norrab where stone discs are manufactured? I'm serious! Not a lot of people on Norrab practice magic, but Bufonis produces a lot of stuff. They ship it off-planet and sell it to sorcerers on other planets.

Bufonis's main export are geomagical goods. Sitting atop an active leyline meant that spellcasting, transmuting, and anything else that fell under the geomagical umbrella became a lot easier.

As a result, this magic became the city's most notable feature. Spellcasting and sorcery is not overly common on Norrab, and Bufonis has established itself as one of the leading cities in magic representation.
