1 Million Charms
The charm is the most abundantly used currency in the Milky Way and several neighbouring galaxies. Around 90% of these galaxies use this form of currency. Let's see what one million charms can get you on various planets!
Cilvarth
Within the Silver Desert of Cilvarth, one million charms can get you anywhere from twenty to thirty acres of arable farmland, depending on the specific region.
Though, in the centre of a city like Aricos, the same amount of money may only get you a moderate sized apartment for the year.
On the other side of the Middle Mountains, farmlands in the giant flower fields are considerably more expensive. On incredibly fertile soil, off-world corporations drool at the idea of owning a stake of this region.
These off-world businesses have driven up prices considerably, making it near-impossible for local farmers to expand any existing farmlands they may own. Just two acres can be worth a million charms.
Daglaci
Even if someone in the lower classes of daglacian society had access to a million charms, it would either be seized from them, or said person would be captured and thrown into the Wilds to fend for themselves.
Should someone in the upper echelons have a million charms, it will most likely be spent on a family feast. Powerful family lineages run society on Daglaci, with businesses spanning the galaxies. One million charms could go missing without being noticed.
Eclypsa
One million charms is the warm-up when purchasing the latest genetic marvel in auctions. The least complex organisms can be sold for tens of millions, and the highest up to even a billion charms.
Maloruno
One milion charms may make you the richest person on Maloruno... or the least rich, depending on how you look at it.
Runos trade through bartering, and digital coin is meaningless. If you purchase items that may be valuable to a runo before landing on the planet, such as firewood, magical artifacts, or even just food, then that will indeed make you rich. Otherwise, a million charms is practically worthless.
Osao
Everything is expensive on Osao. With how interconnected their economy is with outer space, in most urban areas one million charms is insubstantial.
One million charms goes a good way in supporting a university education. With one of the highest percentage of university graduates on the planet, an inordinate amount of money is poured into this sector through its students alone. However, students are more than willing to pay such high prices, as the quality of education continues to increase exponentially.
Razhea Capita
The best way to spend a million charms in Ossaco City is to immerse yourself in the different cultures that mesh within the Main Street.
Taste expensive dishes native of cultures far and wide, or purchase apparel made by luxury designers.
One million charms may be a lot around much of Razhea Capita, but in the Thousand Islands, a single home will cost at least ten times that amount.
One million charms is a lot in the Underworld, but not absurd. It isn't uncommon to bet a million charms on an underworld duck fight, or to bribe someone for some sunsplicer cigars.
Sacaethea
With the struggling economy of many countries after the Burning Sea War, a million charms means very different things depending on where you go. In most countries it can pay for a significant portion of a grandia tree and have it refurbished into a luxury apartment.
For Frish, a large country that lost the war, a million charms would struggle to pay for a ground-level shed and food for a week.
Frish hasn't bounced back from this conflict, and neither did the victors, the Voll States. The Voll States disbanded shortly after the war concluded, after fires destroyed every single island nation. A million charms would certainly go towards putting out said fires.
