Tennasar

Tennasar is a mage city in the north east of Kaltia. It is the capital for mages around the world, bringing in millions of tourists, not only for sightseeing and the history but for studying. The city offers many universities and school designed to teach every kind of magic, potion brewing, magizoology among others.

Demographics

A lot of young people moved to Tennasar to seek proper education, especially in magic fields. The city is home to the biggest population of under 40s, considered young. A lot of well established mages moved to the city, which has brought a good reputation too.

Defences

If the city is under attack, there are many defence systems in place. Several miles of underground tunnels were built long ago to house the people of the city, and after the city received a sudden increase in its population it was expanded to fit more. Several walls surround the city which are hidden underground, activated in the castle that sits in the centre of the city. The walls snap upwards and on top sits massive spikes which rotate to keep people from climbing over.

Infrastructure

The city is home to many tall skyscrapers, with giant trees growing throughout them all, pathways built on the branches to allow easy access through buildings. A large underground system was built years ago in case the city was ever under attack by people. The entrances are a 5cm by 5cm wide circle hole in the riverways, and the only way to get in is with a temporary shrinking spell. Because of the eroding cliffs, some of the tubes that run underground are visible.

History

After harmonids explored the Frost Lands, they established locations where Tennasar was due to the fresh water access with many rivers entering the ocean at an estuary.

Geography

Tennasar sits atop a large cliff face, which over thousands of years has eroded a mile deep. Because of the broken gravity, the top of the cliff is still intact and safe, while the cave underneath reached a mile inwards.
