Kaltia
Kaltia is a country in the north of the Frost lands, one of the most northern countries in the planet. Population 6,540,000. It is made of mountains, boreal forests and frost plains. It shares a border with Drufenis and Zuizraca, the only two other countries in the continent. It is the largest country in the Frost lands and home to the Frost mountain range and blue mountain, the largest and tallest mountain in the world.
Kaltia's capital city is Horruin, population 2,400,000. HISTORY:
Kaltia is known for its race of harmonids known as kozkonyonyaosi, or just "The Koz". They are a race of tall, long-living goat people who survive in very cold climates. They are somewhat primitive, Not really using technology and reluctant to use it. The Koz' aversion to technology led them to be more magic driven. This race has been using magic for at least 4000 years. In 1639, Urna Ianis, the ruler of Kaltia, signed the World Pacifism Treaty, agreeing that Kaltia would remain a pacifist country. Since then, Kaltia has not been associated with a war or conflict in any way.
In 1540, Kaltia was invaded by Drufenis in an attempt to expand their reign in the Frost Lands, after previously taking over half of Zuizraca. An army of about 4000 soldiers and 200 magic-harmonids. Their attempt was a failure, the army attempted to storm the capital and capture the queen, their king replacing her. Unfortunately Kaltia had been preparing for invasion and they had an army of 10,000 and 1000 magic-harmonids.
