Soundbreaker

Soundbreakers are small handheld weapons designed to literally shatter sound itself and physically weaponise it. These weapons were first designed by Mach Studex, a recently-founded corporation based in Karkhala that specialises in sound-based technologies.

Soundbreakers were first used by a handful of oanie Planetary Investigators to stun magical sound-based animals that could be of benefit to them. They are incredibly powerful weapons that weave their way through the Sonus Realm, where sound exists as shards of glass. The glass is snatched through the realm and is shot out of the barrel.

This marked the very first time oanie manipulated some sort of magic in their weaponry, and it begun the trend of weaponising magic to concoct much more powerful tools.
