Ever wonder how the oanie of Karkhala manage to find so many uninhabited planets? Look no further. There are upwards of ten million planetary investigators, and their entire job is to search through the depths of space for uninhabited planets to claim. Planets come with masses of resources, which the oanie love.

Harvesting Planets

One of the most important set of planets in the Yonderverse are harvesting planets. These planets are ones that have no extant native sophonts, and have not had any for an entire seasonal year. Other planets can take legal ownership of any harvesting planet, and are free to use the planet however they please. Usually harvesting planets are used to extract resources, but other common uses include large bases for agriculture and transporting excess populations when home planets become overpopulated.

When planetary investigators discover a harvesting planet, filings are immediately sent to the Karkhala Space Legion to acquire the legal rights to the planet. This is taken very seriously and is a high priority, since the inhabitants of Karkhala love to acquire new harvesting planets for resource acquiring to advance their own species.

Planetary investigators travel into the depths of the Yonderverse to find harvesting planets, as many have already been claimed and there are few left in the more bustling areas of space, which have been likely left alone based on the danger level of the planet itself, such as Nalmaria with mile-wide arachnids.
