Northern District

The Northern District is a country in the Region of Sarra, and as its name implies to the north. Bordering Estros and the Central District, it is an important country for trade. The country is made of two biomes, temperate forests and grasslands, splitting evenly horizontally, grasslands in the south and the forest in the north.

Culture

The Northern District is home to the friendliest harmonids on Greenerth. All believe that life is valuable, take great care in agriculture and nature, their houses are constructed out of the earth itself.

History

The Northern District was established over a thousand years ago along with the other districts in the Region of Sarra. The country border was made of a small gate, every hundred metres was a gate to get through.
The Northern District, when finally establishing its first settlement, began trading honey to other countries. Their climates were perfect for bushy bees, a small insect that produces honey. They grew a reputation as a peaceful country who didn't believe war was right, and continued as a pacifist country when they signed the World Pacifism Treaty.

Foreign Relations

The Northern District and Espya have one of the best relations between countries on the planet. For the past thousand years the two countries have established a trade route with each other, the Northern District sending honey to Espya and Espya sending quartz, granite and marble to the Northern District. Espya's powerful army was permitted to defend the Northern District if it was ever in danger, thankfully the Northern District has never once been invaded throughout its history, due to its good relations with every other country.
