Uescar

Uescar is an industrial city in Tropacia. It is located north of the Yrd plains along the middle of the country. The city's main focus is the production of food and clothing items. The city is fairly small, and most people working here commute, driving from nearby villages and other cities. There are not a lot of places to live here, as the city is mostly factories and farms.

History

Uescar's base plans were first proposed on sheets of paper in a meeting with the government, during a time when Tropacia was running out of money and were in debt. This proposed city was aiming to put them in much more debt, spending money lent from other countries, but the speedy manufacturing of resources and selling them would then bring them out of debt. Uescar's first district, the clothing district, was assembled in 1535. After the booming success of selling clothes to companies worldwide, they constructed the farming district.   However, the influx of people getting jobs in the city meant that streets were overcrowded, roads were constantly flooded with traffic. Thankfully, there were plans to build a housing district, but unfortunately they ran way behind schedule, by at least 6 years.   Once the housing district was built in 1550, the population of the city tripled, from 550,000 to 1,650,000.   In 1870, the Health Inspection, an inspection that happens every 5 years, declared that the living conditions in the housing sector were below legal, and that immediate changes needed to be made. In order to do so, the government spent 50 billion corral to improve quality of life in Uescar, improving water systems, sewage systems, and giving houses proper electricity.

Sectors

Clothing Sector

The clothing sector, as you could guess by the name, specialises in manufacturing clothing and fabrics. Located to the west of the city, the clothing sector was the first planned sector of the city, taking up over a third of the city. The clothing sector is comprised of intricate streets of bungalows that house several people working giant looms and other clothes machines, which they also live in.

Farming Sector

Since harmonids are herbivorous, they require lots of food to eat, this food being plants. the farming sector consists of many skyscraper factories, where stacks on stacks of thousands of planters, all growing unique crops that are harvested and sold in bulk to companies who use their base products to make their foods.

Housing Sector

The housing sector takes up a third of the city. It consists of highrise flats that serve as cheap housing for the people of the city. The housing is not flattering, it was quickly put together when the other two districts were assembled since traffic was such a big problem that the houses were built so people walked more.
