The chromus turtle that Tempus rides on, nicknamed Taara, is the oldest on the planet. She is at the very least three thousand years old, but some sources say she could be twice as old, or more.

The longer she lives, the harder she has to fight against death. But no matter what, death will not choose her, for she has been cursed with immortality.
