T5 Steam Train

The T5 Steam Train is the longest train on Greenerth, at half a mile long (804 metres). Developed by Kaltia Technology Insitution (KTI), it travels from South Tennasar Train Station, through the Miorin Mountain Range, across Jur, straight through the Frost Mountain Range, along the Kaltian coast and stopping at the North Horruin Train Station.
Built in 1685, this steam train revolutionised the technology at the time. The previous record for train lengths was 140 metres, the T3 Locomotive in eastern Sarra. This train requires 4 different water stations that power this train, to move each carriage efficiently.
The train was unveiled at the North Horruin Train Station, to a crowd of 4000 citizens. Each person was gifted a ticket at random, all expenses included.

Power Generation

As all steam trains do, they run on heating water. Infinite water is generated through weepingstone stations, that "cry" water into funnels that get heated by furnace golems. Furnace golems take in any material, throws it into their furnace stomach and generates fire. The golems can then heat the water and run the train.

The T5 Steam Train has 40 carriages, each 20 metres long. The front carriage is 24 metres long, for the captain to drive the train, and additional storage & sleeping for the captain. The next 15 carriages are for passengers who do not intend to sleep overnight on the train. Meals and refreshments can be purchased on these carriages. Meals and refreshments are not covered in ticket costs. The next 15 carriages are for people who do intend to sleep overnight, or multiple nights. Meals are covered in the ticket costs. The next 3 carriages are kitchens, chefs cook meals and drinks for the passengers. The next 4 carriages are the power generators, with furnace golems boiling water creating steam.
