Summer Camp 2025: Judging & Shortlist!
Soooo... this is my second time judging a prompt in Summer Camp, and I'm so excited! I am sponsoring the prompt A species that undergoes a metamorphosis. It's the most broad prompt from Wave 3 in my opinion, which has its pros and cons. I like prompts that are a little more specific, but I can certainly work with this one and a lot of people wrote really awesome articles!
I was looking for something unique when judging my prompt. I've read hundreds of species articles, I have thousands of species in my world (only around 450 articles haha), so I've seen similar concepts over and over again. A longlist of 19 entries were ones that really stood out to me, then I wittled it down to these ten. I have my own personal biases in what I look for in a species, as anyone would.
