Saturnian
Saturnians are the glamorous gilded people of Saturn. These people often have peculiar, eccentric personalities, with mild shape-shifting abilities that allow them to transform their body parts.
Their Empire has led the Colonisation of the Lesser Field. Saturnians are one of the most powerful civilisations in the Milky Way, controlling hundreds of planets.
Anatomy
Saturnians are a deep pink, with striking golden swirls and stripes all over their bodies. These patterns are individually unique; the gilded patterns serve the same purpose as a fingerprint of a human, a form of identification.

These people typically stand between four to seven feet tall. They lack a fully formed nose, instead featuring a divot running from the back of the head all the way to the nasal region, forming a curved rhombus shape with two nostrils.
Their ears are placed low on the skull, just above the top of the neck, around the lower jaw.
Saturnians have extreme cellular plasticity, which allows them to shape shift with ease. They can also re-engineer their skeletal and organ systems to transform into other humanoids, though more extreme shifting is virtually impossible for them. The only thing a saturnian cannot shift are their glossy eyes.
Diet
Like most humanoids, saturnians are omnivorous. Different cultures value varied diets, supplementing their base diet of meat and fruits with various spices and other additives. Saturnians manufacture most of their food in industrial settings.
Sweet treats are a staple of saturnian cuisine, across the planet and the wider galaxy. saturn bites and supernova bars are the two most popular sweet foods on Saturn, manufactured by Cosmic Confectioneries.
Much of their fresh produce is imported from other planets. Menzes Fruits, a company based on Norrab, ships seventeen million tonnes of norrabian fruits every year.
Saturnian Empire
The Saturnian Empire spans nearly a thousand planets across the Milky Way, mostly in the Lesser Field. The pretty pinks of Saturn's atmosphere hide a troublesome reputation. Saturnian invasion of other planets has largely gone unnoticed.

While the world is concerned with the oanie and the havoc they wreak on the Milky Way, saturnians have snuck around and claimed several hundred planets as their own. Saturn has acquired 399 planets in the Lesser Field.
They have played a massive role in the Colonisation of the Lesser Field. What saturnians do with these planets isn't known to outsiders. Things are kept under heavy wraps; each planet is heavily guarded and intruders are mercilessly prosecuted.
In one of the most egotistic moves ever made, the architecture of major landmarks in the Saturnian Empire are a dark pink with golden accents. Tecta Architus, a landmark considered the capital of the Empire, is a two hundred foot tall statue of an ancient ruler of the same name.
The Empire's reputation has always been in their favour, as they have managed to conceal their darker actions. Investigations have attempted to unravel the Empire's secrets, though mysteriously, every time someone gets close to revealing the truth, something gets in their way.
