Organ Stealer

Darkness fills Greenerth, where you least expect it. Where there is light, there is darkness. There are some certainly dark professions out there, one of which is the organ stealer. Organ stealers are trained assassins that kidnap chosen people, harvest their organs. Organ stealers are the unsung heros in hospitals, despite their job being bloody, dark, and downright monstrous. Organ stealers are hired by hospitals when desperate transplants cannot undergo.

Career

Qualifications

Organ stealers are assassins that have been hired by hospitals. No one knows who provides these assassins and delivers them to hospitals, but they are known to be incredibly skilled at their profession.

Career Progression

Only the best assassins are assigned as organ stealers. Assassins usually have 30+ years of training before they are given away as organ stealers, and then they are under the hospital's full control.

Payment & Reimbursement

In return for stealing organs and delivering them to hospitals, organ stealers are provided homes, food, resources, for absolute free, all paid by the hospitals themselves. Since there are so few organ stealers and they are seldom used, they can live a more lavish lifestyle than one would expect. They are paid extremely well after every kill and delivery, up to 5 million corral per organ.

Other Benefits

Organ stealers are above the law, the government doesn't even acknowledge their existence. Everybody knows about organ stealers, they are aware of the very real danger they pose, yet people are so seldom killed by them that no one talks about them. Their presence is not spoken by governments or ruling authorities. In the few countries where organ stealers are illegal, governments are aware that they are still within the country, but their entire existence scares them into saying nothing and doing nothing about it, the same goes for literally everybody.

Perception

Purpose

Organ stealers are hired by hospitals from Assassin Guilds, in the hopes of them killing a random person with perfect organs, retrieving them, and bringing them to hospitals to undergo transplants. Organ stealers are required when there are no available donors, and the patient signs a waver that explains their use of an organ stealer, but it does cost a large amount of money.

Social Status

Organ stealers are well known in every community on Greenerth, but their presence scares people out of talking freely about them, in the fears that they will be killed, despite knowing they are under contracts. Organ stealers are admired by certain cults, seeing them as skilled and talented, some even get obsessed with the thought of becoming an organ stealer.

History

The first organ stealers were documented in 1507, when a man was killed, and their organs were all carefully cut out. Since then, 1459 cases of people with perfect organs being killed and their organs being stolen have been reported, which gave arise to the nickname "Organ Stealers". It was certain that these murders were not of the same people, rather many, which led detectives to reveal that the murders were carried about by people hired by hospitals to retrieve the organs for transplants.
Demand
Small demand, very few organ dealers are hired by hospitals. Few hospitals even have them, and it is unknown which ones do.
