Mycelia

Mycelia is a social media platform used exclusively by serukians. The Emycelium-based platform is inspired by mycelium, the network of root-like structures consisting of branching hyphae, that extend from fungi.

The platform is used for communication, through text messages and through uploading short-form videos. The platform has ammassed almost a billion users, approximately half of the population of the planet. Due to the rising appearance of mobile devices, serukians worldwide have the ability to communicate with people from the other side of the planet.

Mycelia cater to specific groups, such as families. The platform's ability to create "family groups" allowers users to communicate with several people at once, in said group. These groups are controlled by the Cap, a user that typically makes the group, who has the power to delete said group, remove and add users, among other minor abilities.

Mycelia is hosted on Utopia, a supermassive networking system.
