Beast Tamer

A beast tamer is someone who goes out exploring for injured creatures around the world, bringing them to a secluded dimension where they can then look after and re-release later on. They use magic to fly around the world. They aren't paid by anyone, using their strong magic powers to create the things they need.

Career

Qualifications

To become a beast tamer, you must have 3 years experience with an animal-related job, e.g. veterinarian, biologist (any). You must also not have a criminal record.

Payment & Reimbursement

Pay is increased yearly, depending on the efficiency, and quality of your work. The quality is checked by a professional that you must meet with once a year.

Many people have respect for beast tamers. People respect the job they do, and praise the fact they put their lives at risk to save the creatures of the Yonderverse.

Tools

Tamer orbs are the item used to rescue the creatures. They get "sucked" into the orb, sent to an enclosed space in a separate dimension, where the beast tamer works and looks after the creatures.

Workplace

The workplace depends on the beast tamer. All the beast tamer's belongings are found inside the dimension locked in the orb. As there are infinite dimensions, each beast tamer are allowed a separate dimension, with infinite space. So the beast tamer may design their workplace however they like.

Dangers & Hazards

Being a beast tamer you are constantly involved with dangerous species that could easily kill you. You could be poisoned, stabbed, mangled, dangled, strangled, stomped, eaten, spat on, by a host of animals.

Satara

Satara means paradise in Opporol, and is a village hidden in the Miorin Mountain Range. It is the home of many beast-tamers who all work together and have joined their dimensions together, and have created a massive sanctuary for endangered creatures from the entire Yonderverse. The village is said to be hidden away in a forest that confuses you and makes you so disoriented you end up walking straight out of the forest. Only certified people can walk into the village through a path only they can see.
