A-Planet

A-Planet is short for Asteroid Planet, and describes any asteroid big enough to qualify as a dwarf planet or larger. The one thing that separates them, however, is their lack of native flora species. They instead support vast amounts of fauna, but limited to a select handful of species.

Geography & Geology

A-Planets always contain a lot extraordinary geographical features, similarly to planets and dwarf planets. Most A-Planets possess caverns that run deep into their cores, sprawling mountain ranges, valleys cutting deep into the surface

A-Planets are made of a variety of substances, most commonly moonrock that makes up moons. Other common natural stones and rock include granite, pyrite, sandstone, limestone, alatine, grandstone, and quartzite.

Fauna

A-Planets are limited to just four animal species: shorps, cyclops tadpoles, pitter snakes and godrills. Some A-Planets see migratory visitors but these four species are endemic to these celestial objects.

Shorp

Shorps, are large antelope-like creatures that roam on the dry, desolate landscape, using photosynthesis to stay alive. Their bright, neon colours attracts attention from their predators, godrills.

Cyclops Tadpole

These massive amphibians live in the ponds and lakes of A-Planets. They are so common they can drain all the water out of the ponds and then die, due to a lack of water. They get their name from the one large eye on their heads, similar to cyclopes.

Pitter Snake

Pitter snakes are small reptiles that live in pits dotted about A-Planets. They always live together in large balls, writhing and wriggling around each other to make them appear larger to godrill predators.

Godrill

Godrills are the current apex predators on A-Planets. Their menacing stance coupled with their bulky figure makes for an impressive predator. They are smart too, some have constructed small homes out of the rocks where they sleep during random time periods as they are neither diurnal nor nocturnal.

Tourism & Industry

Countless A-Planets are transformed into tourist sites due to their impressive scenery. Many A-Planets, such as A-Planet 28C, have introduced flora species to their lands to liven up the place and create more vibrant sceneries to bring in more tourists.

Karkhala is a planet with ownership over countless A-Planets, such as A-Planet 28C. While most of their owned A-Planets are used to collect resources, some of them are built for tourism.
