Palm Penguin

One of many coastal bird species to inhabit the islands of Barbas on planet Capepo, palm penguins are the smallest penguin species on the planet. Their hardy reputations are symbolic of the fact that their feathers, when densely packed, are tougher than steel. Their light brown, slightly orange, plumage resembles the palm trees they coexist with.

Palm penguins gather in groups of up to a hundred, known as a colony. In groups of up to ten, they will ram into trees to try and knock down the fruits growing above, using their tough beaks to peck into the hardest of shells to extract the meaty flesh within.
