Shacklewood
Shacklewood is a haunted and abandoned island located in the south west of Hepsut, situated within the Ashfall Sea.
Shacklewood is rumoured to be cursed, with it said to be haunted by malevolent spirits, home to Hags, and stalked terrible monsters. The island is covered in a thick jungle, one so dense that beneath the canopy of the trees the island is as dark as night, with it's wildlife so hostile that any that enter within the jungle are quickly stalked and ambushed by it's denizens. The island's jungle is believed to be imbued with a powerful enchantment, which is how it is so dark, giving rise to a unique ecosystem unseen anywhere else on Exorsia. But because of the danger present on the island, it is largely avoided, unexplored and undocumented.
