Arkand Island
Arkand Island is a island situated at the centre of Neldë-Aelin lake, located within the Arkand Wilds in the south of Hepsut.
Like Neldë-Aelin lake, control of Arkand Island is contested by both the Coven of Maran and the Triumvirate of Kahz Molduhr, leaving the island largely untouched and undeveloped.
Arkand Island is completely covered in a dense woodland, and formerly had large sounders of boars living on it, that were non-hostile to travellers due to the lack of predators on the island. Though the Arkand Boar has since been hunted to extinction, despite restriction on hunting on the island, with the settlements of Franeshir and Presran claiming it was Isreim hunters, while Isreim claims it was hunters from the other two settlements.
