The main bulk of the town is located within an artificial cavern and tunnel beneath the mountain, which leads deeper into the mountain, with only a few buildings located outside of the cavern entrance. Most of the town is comprised of numerous, small, stone terrace houses, some built into the cavern wall, all uniform in a grid, with a large part of the underground reserved for markets and taverns, with most of the inns located on the outside.
