Alderan Desert
The Alderan Desert is a vast desert located in central Hepsut. Dunes of scorching sand stretch on for miles, with the land devoid of any landmarks beyond the Alderan Mountains, located at the centre of the desert.
The conditions of the Alderan Desert are extreme, with the region being avoided by the local population of Hepsut. The temperature averages around 40°C during the day, and 0°C during the night, which combined with the deadly, native wildlife, can kill even those who are prepared for the journey into the desert, leaving the region largely unexplored and undocumented.
Most of the Alderan Desert is uninhabited, excluding a small collection of animals, mostly Reptiles and Insects, living beneath the sands, as well as numerous monsters that stalk the dunes during the night. Most of the life in the region is located around the Alderan Mountains, such as the Elemental Gate Community of Gaerah, which is located beneath the mountains, with it believed by scholars that the Elemental Gate of Earth is the reason for the existence of the Alderan Desert. The Alderan Mountains are also home to the mysterious city of Agad'Salé, which is hidden somewhere within the mountains themselves. Both settlements are highly isolated due to the harsh conditions of the desert, with them getting very little visitors.
