About

Root Directory

Root Directory, sometimes stylized as /root, is a meta/hub for Nulcheck's worlds and general World Anvil content.
This world's purpose is to allow worldbuilding projects to focus on their objectives without being cluttered by meta articles that don't belong there. Additionally, after starting a second worldbuilding project, the meta content became even less relevant to the one world I had all these meta articles in. Root Directory was created to organize all the meta content from all my worlds in one place, without feeling out of place.
Various event and technical articles that used to be on the Legends of the Dragonguard world have been moved to Root Directory. All Dragonguard Progress Reports from the World Anvil community tab have also been archived on this world.

Legends of the Dragonguard

Analog Solarpunk technology with dragons!
Legends of the Dragonguard (LotD) is an epic fantasy world that has an analog solarpunk technology setting teaming with dragons of all kinds, some of which have been assimilated into human society.
The technology level in this world is similar to modern technology, albeit more analog. Think of the end of the Cold War era, before everything went digital. That being said, that doesn't mean there aren't impressive scientific advances.
The website (hosted by World Anvil) serves as a Wikipedia for the world and hosts the manuscripts themselves. Legends of the Dragonguard is created and written by Nulcheck, a random generic dude.

/dev/null

/dev/null is a dystopian cyberfantasy hellscape of struggles. Most of those who have been ostracized have turned to crime just to survive. very new world idk what's going on
