Noress

A continent of faeries, monsters, trees, and mountains, Noress is known as a feral wasteland where only crazy people go to get themselves killed. Every once in a while, someone will try to invade the place by trekking in on its massive river system, but they usually get stopped by whatever people happen to be occupying it at the time.
  The magic is the biggest problem. The whole place is imbued with Primordial Magic to its fullest, starting at The World's Heart, and the monsters that live there often feed on it and grow into monsters unlike anywhere else; and the efforts to tame or get rid of any of it has only ever made it worse.
Which resulted pretty directly in The Edged Lands.   The Norton Mountain Range and the Forstford Mountain Range are the primary mountain ranges, with the Forstford cropping up in 4100-ish.
