Cucabusco
A country established by natural side fae first in the early -1100s, Cucabusco has been a feral place with decent-ish peoples for most of history.
This is probably the only country where I know any characters are from for certain, and it's extremely loose.
The borders have been nebulous for much of its history, changing depending on The Edged Lands' enthusiasm in its direction, the humans making their ways up the rivers, the resource wars after too many people started trying to gather in one place.
It's settled into a largely cosmopolitan area by ~4500, occupied largely by fae (due to veil weakspot), old human civilizations (established 2000s), and the feral peoples that still wander it. The occupants are mostly Woodsfolk of Forests of Noress.
The northern border is more or less 'established', as no one cares enough about that chunk of mountains to fight over it, though a healthy clan of dwarves sprouted from a tunnel that collapsed.

Structure
Mostly a collection of loosely associated cities and towns, largely independent of each other. No official leaders elected, and the borders exist mostly because no one has really tried pushing them. It's considered only a little more civil than the Edged Lands, because this dirt doesn't actively ruin architecture.
Culture
Hunting peoples live here. The independence can lead to interdependence of close communities. The cities are often capitalistic while the small communities are often communistic.
History
I am not sure, but the there were definitely kingdoms at some point, as Tinian is here.
