When the world met Thalia, one could not count that her actions would change the world. Nor could they predict she would become addicted to that feeling.
The realms have trembled under the influence of Thalia's hunger for knowledge and the recognition of her hard work. The main researcher into the way between realms in the modern era, this technomage Primus constructed the very theory that other have used to merely catch a glimpse between realms where Thalia confidently strides the realms. But this was not always the case.
Early academy years.
Bold, adventurous, fiercely independent - these traits could describe the darling of the Academy of Natare - but they would be a reconstructionist lie. Starting her technomagic study under Professor Blackbough, Thalia was a technomagic prodigy -the problem was that Thalia had no strength to claim her work as her own. As such her Secondus languished.
Specialising in the artefacts scattering Levis, the young Foliad was constantly diving into ruins scattered around Levis to seek the past of the Foliad species and the mysteries buried in the caves and tunnels beneath and around Levis - all without an explorer's licence. During this time, her mentor, had her assisting many of the projects around the academy, especially around the technomagic building and laboratories. While her assistance was invaluable, the credit to her work would always go to the lead team, and so she soon became the academy darling - but for all the wrong reasons.
When her Professor moved her to study an ancient communication device, uncovered in the ruins of the Oracle Grove, she quickly flourished in experimentation on the device. Her actions led to her pulling over Macus the human, when activating the device fully - and this led to reprocussions vast and wide.
The Polycule years.
What the world did not realise is that Thalia had recently gained a telepathic link to the demon Xylos - the latest in a string of failed communications for him towards the Wanting, but an act of inspiration for her that would take her from shy researcher to what she was to become. While Macus spent his time dragging Thalia into a series of small adventures, it also surrounded her slowly with people who either loved her (like the Brambleberry guide Syn) or were there to support her through those she cared about.
Xylos' invasion
Parnathum exploration years.
After her adventures in Levis around the siege, Thalia quickly began to see the wisdom in exploring the obvious realms outside of Levis - especially if Infernus was to be the risk it could be, and that the human realm was always out there. Feeling a need to seal the humans away from Levis for good, Thalia began to work on a way of powering up the gates between realms without leaving them open. Unfortunately the one she used in the Oracle grove was damaged and she was sent off into Parnathum - the realm of hooves.
While exploration of Parnathum occurred, her main strategy here was to learn more about their knowledge of the realms and how the gaps and intricacies worked to help her both reliably get her back to Levis, and to continue her plan to lock the human realm away from her home realm. It was here that she learned that there are also leaks from outside the realms themselves, though the well of possibility shapes them as they spiral through.
