Rhûnwood
The Rhûnwood is a large forest that covers much of the south east of Elderan, with the Rhûn River traveling directly through it.
The Rhûnwood is largely controlled by the Kingdom of Lorth'elon, with the settlements of Eryn’ando, Isilrhûd, and Nona'rhûn, either situated next to the forest, or within it. The Rhûnwood is also home to diverse range of wildlife, particularly herds of Deer and packs of Wolves.
The Rhûnwood was, within the last century, much larger, with it formerly expanding southwards, all the way to the base of Boundary Hill, and the border between Elderan and Osirin. But much of the woodland was destroyed in 2032 AF, after the creation of the Deadwastes. The Rhûnwood is also believed to have formerly been a part of the Elderna Woodlands, but after millennia of being disconnected from the ancient woodlands, the Rhûnwood has lost much of the innate Magic that continues to permeate the Elderna Woodlands.
