House Temuge
The Temuge family is one of the seven houses of power. The Temuge family is the only house of power family that is Firbolg. The Temuge family is the noble family that runs the city of Ephesia. Ephesia is the city where the majority of the Firbolg population lives, but humans do also live there. The city has vast orchards that are tended to. The fruit is also used to make mead, the island's main source of alcohol. The Firbolg also have wild elk as livestock, and also have domesticated whoop-whoop bushes. The Temuge family also runs the ranger academy located within Ephesia. They also run the Protectors of the Forest. The Protectors of the Forest are a group that travels through the forests of Parvis at all times checking in at an outpost or at Ephesia monthly. The Protectors of the Forest scout for threats on the island, as well as monitor all wildlife on the island because of the evolution of species on the island due to the supercharged mithral.

The Great Elder is an advisory figure to both the head of House Temuge and The Protectors of the Forest. He is an ancient Firbolg who has been alive for as long as anyone can remember. He mostly keeps to himself in the forest but Firbolg often seek him out to ask for advice or a great feat of magic. Even the King of Parvis has been known to see him from time to time.

The head of house Temuge is usually not the most powerful, unlike the Arcandens or Bledsins. House Temuge is responsible for a large chunk of territory and chooses its heir based on their ability to govern, because of this the residents of Temuge territory are among the happiest on the island.
Culture
House Temuge is the least religious of all the houses. While they worship the Great Protector they lean further into his nature ties than his divine plan. Often they care more for nature and balance than the Great Protector's will. This and their refusal to allow the church to dictate marriages has lead them and House Pel to be at odds.
