Waterwalk Tribe
The name of the werekin tribe that traveled up and down the River Tuthai Mot, through The Edged Lands. The first one with the name lived originally on the peninsula that might have a different name. A specific group of Werekin mixed with tiger, jaguar and Lionthat live in or around the Edged Lands
Originally The Twin Spears tribe before the The Edged Lands were Cut. Split into two tribes, Longrass and Waterwalk
They started as three tribes that joined together when the landwar began, with the jaguar coming northwest and the lion going southeast to meet in the middle. Tiger joined when they migrated north from the southern coast. When I come up with their original names, I'll mention it.
The three initially lived similar lifestyles, which often led to disputes and disagreements about territory and preying grounds, but that ended when the humans started working their ways upriver. They put aside their differences and called themselves under the same name.
The Twin Spears tribe became notorious for patrolling the rivers and future Edged Lands, which would continue to ride on the Waterwalk after the Edge was Cut.
The tribes split into two of the original three after the war, becoming Longrass and Waterwalk, and returned to being rivals until the Longrass Tribe settled into the village on the border and provided a Home Base so to speak. The Waterwalks were one of the two that came from the Twin Spear split in the ~4000s. They were known to be far more militant than the others, and they continued to patrol the rivers well after the war was over and the Edge was Cut.
