We took the lift and our new gurney-bot (formerly the 21B medical-droid) carrying Sera down to the lower areas where Black Sun operatives had entered and their survivors exited, making a new unmapped exit for our personal use, and possibly leaving a vehicle or two abandoned. It was moist and mossy. Life covered all the old Imperial concrete and steel.

 
Captain Kolleen messaged me just as I was attempting to spy the creepy fluttering things on the ceiling. Danar used his tractor-beam glove to acquire a sample of the grey ferny moss under our feet, and I sealed it in a hermetic canister. All seemed to be going very well in Laboratory 1313.

 
Davish announced that he thought this was an elaborate con job, what was happening in Lab 1313, with the fog, and greasy ooze.
Vanya asked, "Why? To terrify people?"
 
My Vor and I agreed that the glass jar needed to be contained in the rubber-ware container contained in the zip-lock bag. Still, my megical scanner glove showed the oozy sample was trying experiments on the glass. I deduced it was intelligently trying to escape.
 
The pancake-like living things continued fluttering on the ceiling and perhaps coming closer. Just then two doors opened up with two zombie-shambling stormtroopers with crystals sticking out at painful-looking angles.
 
Danar impersonated Senator Palpatine perfectly.
 
The stormtroopers obeyed his command to stand guard.
 
We overheard them whispering to each other how they were doing improv but had to follow orders to stay on this level. They held to their con, we held to our con, and none of us called the others' bluff.
 
We proceeded with haste to the exit.
 
Vanya discovered that Silar Mins is stealing the very strange hybrid kyber crystals. And coincidentally, the troop hired was working on a Jedi Quest Sequel and used their equipment to scare away any tourists from their "mining" operation.
 
Vanya worked out a possible role for my Vor and his fiancée in the new production.
 
We came out to see the elaborate production.
 
Somehow someone had called for a (union-negotiated, I assume) paid caf break for all hands. A squib named Leske Vesh asked if I knew any Medusas matching the one in a fuzzy image, who had killed his father, Naziro Vesh. I arranged a meeting/duel between Captain Kolleen and him the next day at noon near the marketplace near the spaceport.
 
Their medical infirmary (required for stunt shots) helped Sera Nolath. Danar talked with her when she regained consciousness. Danar and Yoshi might be hunted by (the Hutts?) for having the data crystal showing Void Widow training locations, but they already started planning their defenses and counterattacks.
 
So, despite the entertainment production illusions, the slime seemed to be deadly, and the crystals seemed to be powerful in some way.
 
Muunilinst is the banking clan. They survived the Empire. Only they know how Silar Mins' money gets to Zollo Tarantino Tem.
 
My Vor tasked me with acquiring the rights to Jedi Quest to film a sequel. Grakor the Hutt may be the current owner, the one with the volcano logo.
 
We hurried with our stabilized patient (and the sample of Grey Creep) to the larger medical center.
 
Vanya sent me a message about disturbed droids, and a materials laboratory. Hmm. I will have to investigate that as well as any possible connection between the hybrid Kyber crystals and the Grey Creep.
 
BG Theory: Were the Imperials trying to make an Awakeen for themselves? Nanites that rewrite an organic being.
 
We gave Bene Gesserit Proctor Aeliss Preva samples of our blood to test for immunity/susceptibility from/to the Grey Creep. She found the Grey Creep to be especially effective against Mentats, giving me 48 hours to live after my breathing in small airborne quantities of the creep. Captain Koleen, however, showed immunity, with her blood actively killing the nanites, possibly due to the work of her Aunt in Corellian Intelligence.

Vanya learned that Operation Death Hunter was invented by Armand Isard as a gift to Palpatine, to combine Mark III Dark Troopers and Death Troopers. She awakened one such clone/trooper from bacta, possibly two people combined into one, named SlipVolt, one of them an Awakeen who explored a wormhole, the other a clone on Camino CT-047.
