Diploma: Graduate from the Military school Saint-Cyr (officer school) and from the Ecole de Guerre (institution forming senior officiers).
Previous profession: Brigade General in the French Army. To our knowledge, he is the highest ranked surviving officer in France, and he thinks this gives him the authority to take control of the entire country.

 
Knowledge from surviving military personnel: He is known to be a very efficiency but authoritative leaders. He knows how to inspire confidence and admiration in his subalternes and to make them desperate for his approval and maybe a bit too much fearful of his disappointment.

Rumours from encounters with Parisians survivors

  • "He's been amazing at killing the monsters and zombies and keeping us all safe!"
  • "He's very implicated in the day-to-day governance of the camp—He likes to know everything that's going on to make sure everything is going well."

  • "He's running our camp very efficiently and make sure everyone has something to do to make themselves useful for the group—slackers are not tolerated in Paris, and the general knows how to motivate people to work hard to earn some extra luxury."

  •   From this, we can conclude that the general is very authoritative and is a big micromanager, that he has imprisoned all of his political opponents, and that he forces everyone to work hard and do his bidding in exchange for any comfort.
