His methods were considered barbaric and twisted, but he got results. Rumors about him abounded. He's said to have drank the blood of his 'patients', used his own children as experiments, and even cut babies right from their mothers. On top of that many believe he had relations with his Dejuvi captain. Even going so far as to claim he created viebreaker children with her. Many a HavocBreaker swore by his skill, while others dreaded the mere mention of his name. He vanished just before the bug war, some believe he joined the bugs to take part in their sick and twisted chimera experiments.

The Doctor never elected to speak to anyone about his past, even to his own 'children'. The most he'd offer was an off handed comment about always being someone's prisoner, be it pirates or otherwise.Adulthood
The Doc was fairly young when abducted by Carah Brice and her crew. And while he worked for Carah Brice for nearly 30 years, no one really knew that much about him, as not many dared to get close.Though his 'son', HavocLord Oradoal, is always willing to tell stories about him, the truth of which are extremely questionable.

Though if he wasn't a good Doctor, he likely wouldn't have gotten famous on eccentricity alone. His name is often spoken up in hushed tones. Feared and respected in equal measure, he was more of a urban legend among pirates than an actual person.

Ora was shoved into Doc Razor's lab as a 'body guard' so he would stay out of Carah's way. Doc was annoyed by this but answered Ora's mile a minute questions regardless. Eventually Doc made use of him as a test subject and lab assistant. Doc taught Ora many things in this time, including how to read and write. Ora protected Doc, even from the rest of the crew. Overtime the constant interaction and close working conditions turned to fondness and then to affection.

Ora is the only person who seems to understand Saw and is utterly loyal to him despite all the things Saw has put him through. Saw knows he isn't easy to like and cherishes this one connection hes made, even if it is a bit of a twisted one.

Buckeye was not particularly fond of Doc's sarcasm and way of talking down to people. As soon as Ora and Doc had their falling out, Buckeye was the one to take the Doctor's threat of leaving seriously, kicking Doc from the ship.

These two never really got along. Even if Jecce hadn't gotten jealous over how much attention the Captain gave Doc Razor or the rumors about Doc and the Captain dating, they wouldn't have gotten along due to Doc's dislike of him and his perceived stupidity.
