How names work
The way names are passed down in JauVon is different based on a few factors. Using Traditionalist standards the biggest difference stems from ViVie vs OVie.
And, of course, many Maverics do things their own way.
Last name: Everyone gets the same one: Nelar (meaning 'from space')
Middle Name: The place they were found + Jiaa (meaning inside). For example, someone found in the Zeon ocean would get ZoenJiaa.
First name:, if unknown, will be the last name of the person who turned them in.
Last and Middle name: Given by the people who adopt them.
First name:, if unknown, will be chosen by a government official from a list of broadly acceptable names.
And, of course, many Maverics do things their own way.
Side note: They do not order names the way we do, instead writing them in a rings.
The main family name is on the outer ring, the secondary family name inside that, and your personal name on the inner ring. But for ease of communication I'll call the inner name a first name, the middle name well a middle name, and the outer name a last name.

Traditional Naming Practices
How you get your Last name
Vivie
Your Last name is the last name of the parent that gave birth to you.
Since either one could have chosen to do so, it's only fair that the one that did put in the extra work of carrying you to term is the one who's name you receive.

Ovie
Your Last name is the last name of the parent who you most resemble of the two who conceived you.
Sometimes your last name may even be of the more politically important parent regardless of your looks. Or if you have an older sibling you may get the name of the parent they didn't, regardless of your looks.
That is often up to taste and likely discussed before you are even conceived.
Due to children hatching from eggs laid early in term, it's not a very large commitment of time or physicality to either parent.

How you get your Middle name
Your Middle name is the last name of the other parent involved in your conception, regardless of Livebirth or Eggbirth.Any parents not taking part in your conception do not typically pass any of their names to you, though sometimes their last name may end up as your first name.
Other Naming traditions
A few other naming traditions of note.Unknown Orphans
If a child is orphaned, and their family names are not known, they will get a different set depending on who found them and where.Traditionalists
Most traditionalists will turn lost, or known orphaned, children they may come across over to their respective government officials. And so the names you get will depend on that location's practices.Cairn Tech Consortium

Mavrics
Mavric's are unpredictable at best, there's really no agreed upon standard. A nameless child's new name can come from just about anywhere. Usually based on proximity, founders likes, and things the child reminds others of.Some common trends are naming people after:

Naming Schemes
There are many ways to come up with Vie names, but the easiest would be to use the Fantasy Name Generators site. Here are some I enjoy, but you can go wild.Regardless of where you get the name, be sure to change out any letters that don't fit using the letter guide on the language page.
Or, you could use one of the sample names below.
