Gaiafótr
Gaiafótr is one of the five island-like regions of the continent of Atlan, connected to each other by the usually frozen Frigid Sea. Gaiafótr is located in the west of Atlan, separated from the region of Knífrbreið by the Ingemar River.
The island of Gaiafótr is home to the Elnur people, indigenous Humans who have made their home in the frigid cold of Atlan.
It is believed that the name "Gaiafótr" is derived from the name of the Primordial Earth Goddess Gaia, and the Giant word for foot or leg, with it translating to Gaia’s Foot or Gaia’s Leg.
