Humans
Humans are the most common species of people on Exorsia. Even though they are one of the youngest species on Exorsia they can be found all across the world adapting to almost every climate, with the largest concentration of humans found in Osirin under the Varin Empire.
Humans have relatively short life spans compared to many other of Exorsia’s dominant species, but this is a benefit rather than a detriment with humans being incredibly ambitious risk takers, always striving for greatness while other peoples have all the time in the world. Despite their relatively short life spans, archaeological records suggest that Humans have been living on Exorsia for over 200,000 years.
Humans have the unique ability to reproduce with almost any other species, though it is unknown why this is a thing. This feature, combined with the large human population make mixed human species very common in Exorsia, especially in large cities and capitals where many different species mix more often. Some of the more common mixed species are Half-Dwarves, Half-Elves and Half-Orcs. Mixed species take physical traits and appearances from both their parents and children of mixed species parents are always mixed themselves.
Appearance:
Complexion: Human skin tones range from a light pale complexion to a dark brown one.
Hair: Human hair colour ranged from black, brown, blonde to ginger, commonly turning gray or white with age.
Eyes: Humans tend to have brown, blue or green coloured eyes.
Maturity:
Humans reach adulthood around the age of 20.
Reproduction:
Humans are uniquely able to reproduce with almost any other humanoid species. These offspring often have a mix of attributes from both species, but are more closely related to Humans and are categorised as having the Mammalia ancestry.
The gestation period for a Human is around 9 months.
