Elsee
A former archipelago on the southern and eastern hemispheres, Elsee (named that because it was L C Lower Continent, one of two that I had at the time) is a land peopled primarily by things big enough to eat you or people people enough to fight them.
The southeastern portion of the continent is actually stricken by a curse that caused its continental drift to go backwards. I think I'm going to go with the bit about V'Thoon's curse and shit maybe on the Kobolds (or Halflings, who were in league with Kobolds, yay sea-farers). The Halflings spread up through there while the Orcs and Goliaths came south from Noress and The Dwarves came west from Gobbo. The Dwarves have always had an immense effect on the area, being providers of the much-valued and envied stones that would allow the mundane to hold ground against the fae, who were unfairly magical and were hard to dissuade on invasion.

Geography
The most pronounced features are the mountain range down the center from north to south, and the rocky southern archipelago.
The mountain range effectively divides the climate into two separate functioning ecosystems, with one side being wet and river-covered, with low trees amongst the dense forests, with frequent rain and storms. The rivers are host to a rich collection of wildlife allowed to flourish.
As you go south, the shoreline gets rocky and the archipelago remaining between Elsee and Jupiter is a trecherous series of rocky islands jutting from the water, which itself has a strong current. The winds are mild, overall, but that just means the rain stays on your head.
The southwest is much dryer, much windier, and is generally hostile to all things living.
Making one's way northwest and into the lower altitudes, the trees grow and high and spread out, with narrow leaves and thin branches, with wide fields of grasses expanding as one heads inland toward the mountains.
The mountains themselves are actually not as rocky as one would think, but they are tall enough that the lands are cold and jagged. Landslides are common and what few steady sources of water remain up here are quickly claimed by locals and hoarded. The windbreak on the east side makes for miserably dry and hostile conditions immediately west, which are made gentler by the strait and winds coming off the Najuna ocean.
The island off the northwest coast of Elsee is a moderate little plain of rolling hillsides covered in low trees, a veritable paradise. I haven't decided what's wrong with it overall, probably anti-magic or something.
