Darkness Magic

The combination of Holy Magic and Elemental Magic, born to disperse collections of Elemental magic. (As the 'collections' were usually people hosting Primordial spirits, Elemental Sorcerers, Elementals, and virtually anything else primordial, and the size of it doesn't allow for precision hits, this is usually hugely devastating.)


Ultimately a tool of the gods, it took its own shape until it had nothing left to eat, at which point it dissipated and now waits, spread throughout the world, for enough of the elemental energy to accrue for its attention.


Its very existence is corrupted. The divine magic is tainted by the primal, and the primal energy is twisted into forms unnatural by the will of the divine. This corruption has been known to collect and infect living and dead creatures, oftentimes imbuing them with power and elongating their lives. Or at least physical activity on the natural world, most would hardly call that infected state "living".
