Elementals
The third stage of Primordial that is basically a super big Sprite.
Elementals are an everloving shitload of magic, and the bigger they are, the more magic they are. It's extremely rare for elementals to exceed 20 ft (6m) in circumfrence.
They spread out in a circle, gaining height at twice the rate of girth. Once they reach that twenty feet, they either have to start condensing into an Aetherborne or they have to divide themselves into baby Sprites and Motes.
Elementals are basically floating manifestations of whatever element they embody. Floating fire, floating puddle, floating rocks, whatever you like. Most of them are highly intelligent and only get moreso as they expand, and their spell repertoire only ever gets bigger and they only get better at their basics.
They are only territorial when it comes to each other, as they are the only things that can compete with them for resources and are usually some of the only possible threats. Most creatures aren't a problem, and even if they were, could easily be handled.
They can manifest arms and hands if they so wish! Most don't bother unless it's convenient at the moment, and it usually isn't. Young ones usually end up mucking up the attempt and burning or electrocuting things for a while, but full grown elementals can hold ten things in their palm and only drown one.
They almost never bother with legs. If they just super need to kick someone or something, manifesting things as a massive force without a foot is perfectly acceptable.
