Sprites

The second stage of Primordial development, Sprites are what happen when enough Motes join together to become a single entity.
This one usually has hands of a kind or another, manifesting as little 'flames' of color that match their respective element.
They're roughly the size of a typical human head, can carry loads up to fifteen pounds, they fly a max height of fifty feet (roughly 14m), and can damage goods.
They feed on primordial energy and are unlikely to act hostile toward visitors unless threatened directly, like grabbed, at which point one should prepare for an attack. Fire sprites burn, of course, but stone sprites have been known to grow spikes, and water sprites will freeze suddenly, or burst into steam, and there's been a story of a drowning when one jumped down its attacker's throat. (Killed the sprite, too.)

In addition to forming when a Mote has gained enough energy to grow, they can also happen when an Elemental grows to critical mass and divides itself into however many pieces it splits into. Sprites lucky enough to spawn this way usually get a few easy meals for their first few, and get a quick start in the world as powerful.
