I have (probably) convinced the base commander and one of his higher ranked underlings that any comms interference is due to the B'omarr Subterranean Monastery.

 
I may have also persuaded a ranking middle officer to do what's right for the safety of himself and his underlings, not just blindly follow protocol.

 
I abslutely dressed down the enemy Awakeen for being a whiny bitchy little four year old at these military-type people. And then confirmed in strongest terms to Commander What's-his-name that this Awakeen psychopath is inevitably going to turn on them very, very soon. Best to part company while he's still trying to get ready to leave.
