Dauphin

The Dauphin is the designated heir to the Empereur of the Luisant Empire.

The Dauphin is entrusted with empire-wide authority over all things, second only to the Empereur, the Général Règle in military matters, and the Arcanist Suprême in magic matters. In presiding over the administrative matters of the Empire, the Dauphin hopes to prove themselves capable of ruling, and thus worthy of succession.
