By the time he was born, the country had been freed from the old lord. He was seen as the trophy of what Legna and Casto had helped fighting for.
Hiden Gilmis was the Valonian journalist and sculptor. He was the son of legendary writer Legna Gilmis and the sculptor Casto Hiden. He is currently the third president of Zeth n Legna, the family's publishing business.

Personal history
Hiden was born shortly after his parents' marriage, and the liberation of Valone, in 15 BVE. At the time, their company was still small, but the community around was stronger, and safer. He was raised by the member of the company: Legna, Casto, and Zeth.
Education
Hiden attended the Royal Research Academy, the official educational center of Valonia Empire. He learn how to math, read, and write, which was already mentored by Legna at that point. He also learn Casto's craftmanship such as sculpting and percise measuring, which helped him mastering in mansory class at the age of 16.
Employment
Since his young adulthood, Hiden worked as a journalist at Zeth n Legna, being mentored by Legna and short-term Zeth. When she died in 28 VE, he became the third president of the company, managing the business to distribute the news throughout the empire.
He hoped to pass on the company to either Silvesta or Vanetta, but either of them had to prove themselves first - he chose Vanetta.
Mental Trauma
Having fewer children meant carrying more from their parents. With very distinct skills to learn, he became a coward and grumpy. He never faced the bad environment like they used to. However, he managed to stay calm in the public, even if he want to rant from the peak of a heart.

He married to the Valonian lady, Julia Planta, having 4 children: Silvessa, Ferretto, Kallos, and Vanessa. He trained both sisters to be the writers - like Legna, whereas the brothers trained to be a sculptors - like Casto.
He was also associated with the emperor Valus I since he was a close friend of his mother, who came up with the excellent contract. The letter from such royal person came to him very frequent, all asking about Legna wellbeing. There was one time the emperor himself invited both to the grand palace. It's one of the most excited yet frightening moment in his life.

Relationships
Hiden inherited Casto's family language, the Hiden's Glyph. It has been passed on for a unbelievable thousands years, which is believed has been associated with The Myth of The Stone. He used it to decorate the layout of his newspaper, and his signature for his articles and sculptures.
