Ansa Thalas (Ah - nn - sah / Thah - lahss)
Located about twenty miles southeast of the Greenleche Wood, Ansa Thalas is a small town that dedicates its time to worshiping Pelor, god of Life and Healing through the Church of Healing. The town is run by Head Priest Ramah Zook, who believes that Pelor shows his light in many forms.
A narrow rivers skirts around the outside the town, with a set of barricades both surrounding it and creating a dam in the river. A stone wall surrounds the town, with gates leading out to the farms. Inside the town walls are five spires made of black marble that rise up like beacons. The top of the spires are platforms in the shape of an oval with golden metal rods that curve out as a hook toward the sky. Pulsating blue magick emanates from the rods, surrounding glowing crystal shards the size of a young dragon. The magick from the spires creates a static energy that leaves the air feeling...different. You can't quite put your finger on it.
Demographics
While elves are the primary race of the town, humans, dwarves, and halfbreeds are present. There are a total of 784 adults with 230 children and 138 elderly.
Defences
Ansa Thalas is surrounded by a river with a large wall protecting the town day and night. Three exterior gates leading out of the town are located to the west, north, and east, and another gate leading to the Church of Healing. Tall towers are set up throughout the wall while five interior towers are set up in various districts as a place to dock airships.

Infrastructure
For the last few months, the town has been in lockdown mode, leaving no new visitors and resources running low. Wagons and carriages were once the main source of transportation before lockdown was set in motion. Sewers run between the town and Avalon Logging. The southwestern part of town is home to the Church of Healing, and is boarded off with heavy security.
Guilds and Factions
The Guildhall: An ornate half-timbered building, once an aristocrat's manor. It contains a large meeting hall and several smaller rooms, and is shared amongst several local merchant guilds.
Keystone of Kasdiel: A giant white keystone hangs in the air high above the street, fixed and immovable. It is said that anyone who touches the keystone is protected from evil for a year and a day.
