Caasi Bushland
-Work in Progress-
Cold and perilous, this bushland straddles the shoulder between the Starfall River and Vertus. While other regions of similar tree density would be called forests, the Caasi Bushlands is named for its winding natural trails surrounded by various forms of waist high scrub. With rocky granite hills dipping into an almost dull black soil, this bushland is home of the Oracle Grove - the place where the humans first came into Levis.

Climate
The air around the bushland is often moist and cold, getting down to 10C some of the colder mornings. Dew fills the air here, and the dry season is one of relativity, where while the tree leaves grow brittle and stiff with warmth, the wind of the region keeps it still vibrant with foliage, and allows some of the more delicate creatures of Levis to find a home here.
History
With such a rich ecosystem this close to Vertus and the settlements on the Starfall River, the bushland was always destined to be a place that evoked the possibility of the imaginations of the people of Levis. Added with the early crash of a Fey Comet and the forest was going the place of legends.
With a heavily mutated soil, the trees themselves became a conduit for the people of the lands an almost tear into the well of possibility. When in the early days, before time, the seers set up near the mutated land of the comet-fall they began to build their recluse - using older magics to hide themselves from outside view.
When the humans came, to set up that first gate between realms, working with the mages, none could anticipate what was to happen next. Well except the witches and seers. For the Caasi bushland, it wasn't the clearing of the path between the grove and the main trade route. It wasn't the logging around the portal that changed things - it was the
