These animals were originally imported from Vondren, brought by immigrants or as curiosites, the exact reason wasn't recorded. What is known is that they're very invasive and delicious. They're grown mostly in Daum, though get a bit out of hand during breeding season as their eggs and larva have no natural predators here.

like Sheep hereded around the swamp, eggs collected for food usualy sent to other vondren cities, larva prolly eaten too when herd is getting too large, though only eaten by herding vilalge and thier neigbors.
shed exoskeleton is used in building things and also as armor

These animals don't do well on Jaumun and arn't really liked either. there's always a werdo who will keep one and pamper it as it shivers in thier shirt or something, atleast in ciarn. likely brought by a vondren migrant who just couldn't leave fluffy behind
they don't get along well with (moth cat thing needs name) either, making it very annoying when you're neighbor has one.

In the big cities of vondren they're often kept as pets. they're super affectionate and are great with children. they also hunt smaller pests.
in the swamp they're a bit bigger and often kept as livestock guardians. they're loyal and easy to care for. they also eat the paricited that often latch onto the Rer(isopodsheep). they're hyper awear of (wasps like things that travle in small packs like wolves) and will alert thier keeper if they catch a wiff of them in range

Vondren

These blood sucking insects are considered a staple of most swamp diets. Thier life stages are egg, larva, pupa, adult. The larva feed on algae and waste in the water's the live. While the adult males feed mainly on nectar, the females feed on blood. Each species of Roally perferas a different sort of animal's blood. Although attempts have been made to export them, roally only thrive in the swamps of Monev Calv. They are edible and delicious in every stage of life. Can be eaten raw, boiled, roasted, popped, or used as an ingredient in a larger dish. Some Vie love them soo much they mvoed to the dangerous Monev Calv Swamp to farm them.

whove only live around the southern half of ncia. the royalty there is guards them very jealously and exports of the silk are always expensive and in high demand. now that the glacial phantom is gone though, they've had to deal with alot more zoendol fisherman making treks to harvest the silk. its lead to alot of contention between the two nations.
